confirmation of the good in humans

this morning, while on my way to the dentist, two guys jumped out of their cars and tried to help a mama duck and ducklings cross Rancho California Road at Ynez (one of the biggest and busiest intersections in Temecula). when i was able to safely pull forward when the light turned green, i could see from my rear view mirror that the cars in the other lanes still waited patiently as two humans rescued a handful of little lives because... that's just what people do.
