It's going to take me a little while to adjust to the new patch changes. some of the things i immediately liked:
the barber shop - wee!
the calendar - no more wondering/guessing
mounts/pets on a tab
class colored nameplates on enemies and health/mana values on targets - now i can give the default unit frames a try. granted, they're still lacking but i like to keep things simple. i will still use Grid for party/raid unit frames, though.
baby steps towards learning all this new stuff. i have only played 2 of my 4 characters so there's still a lot to learn. i'm pretty slow about learning new tricks.
