my assumption was incorrect

i did not see Eat Pray Love alone. i did not see Eat Pray Love on dvd. i saw it tonight with my mother, brother and sister-in-law at a theater in Portland. how good the movie was just doesn't feel important right now. it was hard for my mom to get through. i didn't talk to her about it, just held her hand tightly when she cried in the theater, hugged her hard when i told her goodnight. maybe sometimes we need space and quiet, even when we're sitting next to someone we love. maybe we need a rather sappy julia roberts movie to act as a catalyst for emotional release. maybe we should have seen Salt... : |

angelina jolie with guns, y'all.
